Indigenous Languages of Manitoba (ILMB) is proud to present the 7th Annual Honouring Our Languages Conference on October 6 & 7, 2021.
This is an in-person outdoor event strictly following public health orders to keep everyone safe; we are looking forward to connecting with each one of you!
The theme of this year’s conference is Navigating Contemporary Issues to Restore, Support and Strengthen Indigenous Languages. Over the course of two days, participants will collaborate and discuss about language, teaching methodologies, and the important challenges and opportunities that Indigenous people have faced and continue to face within and between nations.
We invite community members, youth, Elders, and all who are committed to Indigenous inclusion, prosperity, and healing to attend and immerse yourself in the language and spirit of the conference, no matter your skill or age!
